My Dilemma

Here is my dilemma....

I have been thinking about getting another car and for the same price i can get a C-SVT or ...

.

MK2 GTi is my favorite make and this one is pretty mint..... But i do love the power of a 3L SVT....

if the Mk2 Gti is rare and in great shape I might go for that first. CSVT's for the most part are pretty cheap, more so when they have a blown engine to be able to drop a 3L into ...

Thats the CSVT in question :-D. I have a feeling the GTi will disappear before I have the $$ to buy it since he just put it on Ebay. If it does fall through i am going to start looking at CSVTs. I really like Trop Green but also like Silv Fros...

i would stick with the SVT. that GTI is nice, but i'm not sure i'd want to drive it every day. the interior is kinda blech

the GTi is in great shape though,and they really are hard to find looking that good. were thats not the story w/svtc's. it seems to have some very tasteful mod's done too. it would def'n be a tough choice if i was in your situation.

Daily driver or garage queen?

CSVT or GTI respectively IMO.

I love the interior of the GTI (it reminds me of the AMG MB 190e) but personally wouldn't rock a car without power windows or locks. Then again it is a VW so you probably don't want power anything in it :laugh:

in the past, the contour had no market...but i have to say, nowadays you can get anything and everything you need...atleast performance wise. who really cares about aesthetic stuff?
