where do the motors go?

well usually when they swap its because the old one has blown sumthing up or cracked sumthing..meaning the old motor is no good and go to the trash or metal recycle yard

well since I pulled a perfectly working motor I am goign to hold onto it ... most junk them as they have been trashed in some way

Hopefully excluding SVT engines. You know, the most common ailment, which seems to be bearing related, isn't a death sentence for any engine. Hopefully the SVT engines get recycled back into the parts pool in some manner as I'd think they are too valuable to throw away.

I'll have plenty of recycle parts for CEG'rs ....PM me for parts. Only thing using for my swap is the cams and valve covers. Plus the drive pullys.

I beg to differ... I've had numerous ones just like this from a spun bearing... and it sure looks like a death sentence to the entire long block.

This one even blew the oil cooler off the OTHER side of the block.

Okay, I should have said that they're not necessarily a death sentence. It kind of depends on the circumstances like racing versus just driving down the street. I think it would be safe to say that in your circumstance, the death sentence was the part where the engine's parts started exploring places that they weren't designed to go.
