This damn route is killing me. Everyday, no matter what time of the day it is, you're bound to sit in at least 30 mins of traffic. I have sat in traffic even as late as 2am in the morning. I have no idea what the hell is going on all of a sudden such that the volume of traffic has increased so much. The stupid thing has been one lane for a while now, but all of a sudden traffic is always present.

So fine, it's not all one lane, they opened two lanes near the I275 split off, yet the fuggin lanes haven't changed a bit from before they even started construction, WTF?!?! At this rate they'll finish the project when my kids have graduated from UofM.

thats nothing weve had construction on one of our main roads for the past 10 years, lol .............ok its more like 5 but hell it minds well be 10
 
well according to michigan.gov, m-14 will be worked on at 1 lane till the begining of november to mid november. Then it will be opened up/ Shoulder work will remain till mid december. They started on this in the begining of APRIl. So yeah it was my only way to travel to eastern. so i have ben taking mich ave since the work began. That construction company is sure taking there sweet ass time!!!
 
Yeah, 14 sucks. But I can't imgaine it being bad at 2am!!! Last Saturday I was heading west on it to go hunting in Manchester at 4am and there was no one on the road at all! Oh well, like harry said... Michigan Ave!!!

I avoid M-14 likr the plague now. Ever since they shut down the Sheldon Rd exit and opened the Beck Rd exit - a-holes INSIST on doing 20mph for who know's what reason. It's effen irritating.

Neil I just use Plymouth Rd and take it all the way to Beck.

My wife drives to Ace Deuce everyday and she uses Plymouth Rd too. She just gets backon M-14 at the Ford Rd ramp, and on the way home, gets off and Gottfredson to take Plymouth back again.

I suggest you do the same.
