Dion thanks for recommending this event. Very very cool. Also Recoveryone thanks for coming out and meeting me there. It was cool having someone to BS with about all the awesome cars that were there.

I have tons of pictures, but it will be a while before I post them up. The computer I have along with the internet access I have are way to slow to handle them. I'll probably have a few up but the bulk of them won't be up until Wed/Thurs.

Thanks again.

i have hundreds of cars and coffee pics. Should I post them? Ill find my favorites, if that wouldnt be thread hijacking.

No problem Mike, I felt we (Calif CSVT) needed to step up and be a good host. Here's a few quick shots I just uploaded:

Nice the cars look sweet. I wish I could have been able to go. I'm still try to get her back on the road hopefully she will be out and about by the end of the month. Good job though recoveryone with being a good host and stepping up.

No problem, I was going to try to go, but I woke up way too late. It's so worth it to get there first thing in the morning to watch them all roll in. Back when it was at Crystal Cove, I went on Thanksgiving weekend (2005) in my BMW, and I parked next to a gentleman with an SLR. He complimented me on my car (which caught me off guard), and I of his, and next thing I know, we're just talking about things in general. A lot of the owners are very down to earth and easy to talk to about the cars.

If you're really game, tomorrow is Supercar Sunday in Woodland Hills, which is also a drive and you have to get up early, but again, worth it.

Any more details on this Supercar Sunday? Is it another show?

I did some internet searching and came up with this address...

Village Coffee Roaster
23351 Mulholland Dr.
Woodland Hills, CA 91364

This is even closer then the Cars & Coffee. As I'm at the Holiday Inn Express in Manhattan Beach. 34 miles @ 36min

Anybody else up for going to this??

that's really close to me. ive been there many times but its early and it gets kind of old after awhile, lol. definitely check it out. ive been to the one in Irvine as well and the one in woodland hills/calabasses typically has a better variety and WAY more cars.

sorry i never got back to your pm. ive been crazy busy.

while youre here, check out the Peterson museum as well as the Nethercutt Collection (aka San Sylmar) in Sylmar. although you need to write in for tickets (free) in advance.

I was just flipping through my channels and stopped on Speed. They were showing C&C hosted by Barry Meguiar. Looked like there were hundreds of cars there. They mentioned something like 400? That's gotta be insane!
