i've around 104k miles on my csvt and i plan on doing the following maintenance and wondered if there is anything i might have missed. with my hondas that i owned previously, at 100k there are an array of parts that are changed out even though they appear to be in good working order. my car is bone stock.

i plan on changing out the following
- drive belt
- idler pulley
- splash shielf
(above 3 is due to car squeals when wet)
- water pump
- t stat
- change tranny fluid filters
- spark plugs and wires
- fuel filter
- cabin filter
- air filter

is there anything else that you have changed out at this time that i might add to my list?

you may need a new gasket for the waterpump. Some pumps don't come with one included.

Water pump belt
PCV valve
Check your brakes and sway bar bushings.
And have a look at the EGR passages on the UIM. They can sometimes become clogged and may need a good cleaning.

FYI, Bosch makes an activated Charcoal cabin filter for our cars. It's listed on their site but I haven't found a place that has it yet. Thought I'd throw that out there.

Sounds like a good list and a good idea.
Just wanted to add there is not a trans filter on a manual trans and that Ford has a spec fluid (called 'honey').
Good idea to clean at least TB, probably not hurt to clean upper intake also.

A dremel and a stainless steel wire brush attachment, $3 at home depot, will make quick work of any carbon buildup in the UIM and LIM.

I use 2 different brushes to clean the walls and the butterflys. I've found that it is much easier than carb cleaner. And were a breathing mask when doing it too. The carbon becomes airborn and get's stuck in your nose boogies easily. Then they don't taste so good :nonono:

you might want t o check the bushings and boots on the front a-arms. they tend to wear out and the boots start to crack around 100k. theyre not very cheap and theyre a pain to replace, but IMO it would be a good idea to check. just a thought.

Part of it is what you have done up to this point...

I would certainly look at the interval since every fluid change (if over 30K, coolant over 50K unless Dexcool, do)
Check all belts, hoses and filters (cabin air probably needs replacement).
Fuel filter, if over 30K since last one.

If you haven't had wheel bearings, I'd also expect those soon too...

Wheel bearings arent a huge issue... If you have no vibration/humming noise, just grease em a lil.

I would look at replacing Tie rod Ends, Ball joints sway link end bars and control arms in the front.

Should not run you over $250 in parts for both sides. Get them from Steve @ tousley Ford.

Also, if your state uses salt on the roads, CHECK YOUR SPRINGS!

I had 3 broken one's on my svt and my zetec has 1 broken 1. You can get these from steve as well.
