Silver ring around grille

On my 98 SVT the silver ring broke off of the grille. All the tabs were broken, so I am guessing that it was like that before I purchased the car. My friend and I tried to use an epoxy to hold it in, but once it started to get hot, it would pull away. What can I do to reattach it to the grille? Any suggestions short of replacing it??

No way. Not for anything that shows. Splash guard is another story (mine is duct taped together, hahahah). I recommend screwing it together...at least I think that's how it should be done.
