sounds like a lot of show and no go.

pointless on a mustang, but a good mechanicially untampered with car to work with.

those v6's can be just as nasty,,,there's a member over on probetalk w/a twin turbo'd 3.8L:drool:

Driving a V6 Mustang should be left for chicks and rental fleets.
Even if its fast and makes power with a 'twin turbo 3.8L', its still a waste.
You might think its cool, but I'd say its retarded.

then you think to yourself "imagine how much faster it would have been if it were a V8 with twin turbos.

I can easily see people saying that about ford contours.

can't put a T-45 on a six cylinder. so either it's a GT or someone is fibbing. and there's no "coil pack" or spark plug wires on the 99+ 4.6. they are individual coils per cylinder.

Strange opinion you might not find on this site.
I'm sure you can say that about a lot of cars, but not an SVT Contour.

What I obviously meant was that your attitude towards a V6 mustang is comparable to the general public's attitude to a ford contour, a huge fleet/granny car in it's day (that I do indeed love.)

"Why would anyone modify a v6 mustang" sounds just like "why would anyone modify a ford contour" to me.

I'm sure you also think modding a lowly zetec 4 cylinder is a waste of time too.

I respect anyone who can make awesome amounts of power on any engine/platform and I think turning your nose up on them is quite elitist and narrow minded.

I think some folks are being a little harsh. The guy just wanted to show his father's new car -- I don't think tearing it apart is the way to do things. Hell, I don't know the exact specs on it either, but maybe the way to start figuring that out is to ask for the specs specifically. I can't help but feel kind of bad when someone who comes on here excited to share enthusiasm about things Ford gets a subpar reception. Hey, not every car will be liked by everyone, but people don't always need an opinion, either.
