have a engine light code n hesitation at wot

when in wot car hesitates, check engine light starts blinking for a few seconds, then goes away, then it will do it again but this time stays on, i check is p0141 n p1000, i already replaced the bank 1 number 2 02 oxygen sensor but it did it again, any ideas, car is bone stock 138k miles

also it sounds like a miss fire. suggest motorcraft or autolite double platnium plugs and new motorcraft wires

also did you resent the PCM after you changed it?

ok my mistake, you replaced the correct O2 sensor. make sure you reset the pcm to clear the code or it will still be there until the PCm resets it itself.

if you have not hcanged the plug wires that is most likely where the issue lies. however you will want to change the plugs again also because if you had carbon tracking the new plugs could have also carboned tracked already. best to replace plugs and wires together.

bank 2 is the front of the engine or cyclinders 4, 5 and 6 .... bank 1 is the firewall side of the engine or cylinders 1,2 and 3 ...

ok, check for the stored code and post what it is, might be something different

remove plugs:
check gap 0.052-0.056
check plug boots to ensure no moisture
check routing of plug wires (coil pack and engine block differ!)

I suspect plug problems or wire problems, even with "new" wires..

You need double-plats.

No.. you don't NEED double plats


Of course, you don't NEED to wear a helmet on a bike, or a seatbelt on a car, or even to look both ways before crossing the street, but its always a smart thing to do it to avoid problems.





I'd go with double plats, unless you have a NEED to go otherwise (boosted, etc)

new spark plug wires are on, went to try is till hesitate on wot, engine check light starts blinking and blinks for a couple of times then goes off, also i feel my clutch all the way to the top, i just barely need to press to shift could it be also needs a clutch or theres any way i can adjust the clutch.
