speaker depth

I have a 1998 Contour SVT and i'm putting in some new speakers, does anyone know the mounting space depth in the car? (front)

Hey man it wouldn't be the first time Scosche Documents are wrong. If you got that from the Scosche-cars.com site, which I have access to as well as you do (I assume so because of your BBY position), I would believe it is probably wrong, yes.

that scosche thing doesnt make sense anyways. the width is smaller than the height? for 6x8 speakers?

oh well. i'll just figure out it once my speakers come in and i have to take the panel off.

BTW, finally got the effin headunit installed and amp bypassed, now just waitin on the speaker wire to arrive so I can install the speakers and amp. gonnaa be sweeeeet.
