Eh, the Scosche must be wrong.

Here's a quote directly from a PM I had w/ SoundQ

"But, the JL Audio 8IB4's that I use have a mounting depth of 3.875 inches, which was a little too deep so we had to use a spacer of about 3/8 - 1/2" to give about 1/4" clearance to the window glass."

So yeah listen to him.

Don't quote me on this but I think I read 3.875"

Congratulations, you just proved yourself wrong...

that scosche thing doesnt make sense anyways. the width is smaller than the height? for 6x8 speakers?

oh well. i'll just figure out it once my speakers come in and i have to take the panel off.

guy must have a bumpin car! i'd never go all out as to use my fronts as subs. wonder what he has in the trunk

Damn! toooooo much money. then again, i dont even have a job.
Ask that guy how much he paid for dynamat alone

BTW, finally got the effin headunit installed and amp bypassed, now just waitin on the speaker wire to arrive so I can install the speakers and amp. gonnaa be sweeeeet.

I don't think he'd waste the money on dynamat...many other cheaper/better alternatives IMO
