I took about 275 pictures on Saturday, I'm just now getting around to cropping/resizing the giant files! I post post some later!! Actually, I'll probably just create a web page and add a link to it.

Non-Replica!

Hate to break it to you, but that car is a replica. FFR by the looks of it.

Fuel Injection
Larger than original wheels
Dual black roll bars
Black bumpers
Non original color

Those are the problems I can see just from the photo.

No one that can afford an original would destroy the investment by altering it.

now THATS a cadillac!!

When I saw this car in the Caddy part, the guy had the hood closed. I was wondering what the big deal was about a stock Deville. Now I see. WOW!

It is rediculous to call a hot rod an investment. That is what is ruining hot rodding. A hot eod is made to be driven. Not turned over for more money, or babied just because it's rare. Hot rods are driver's cars. Not trophies or display pieces

I completely agree, for the most part. The 1 of 2 ever built Shelby Super Snakes that went for 5.5 million at B-J last year was build to be driven, but I think it should be in the Smithsonian, so I have not problem with a car like that being a collectible. On the other hand the prices being paid for old Hemi's or Cobra Jets is ridiculous.

Prices were considerably lower in this year's B-J auction for many car types that last year were a lot higher. Many "well bought" cars although all out of my price range. I think that B-J tends to skew the prices a bit on the high side (higher than price guides dictate for sure) which makes any ebay seller think their car is worth more than it is so there are a lot of reserves not met. The Shelby SS didn't interest me because it had an automatic transmission. I would have taken that $5.5 million and bought a few winged hemi cars or something similar.
