SoCal Meet - Orange County

so after reading bout the things thats been goin around ceg (reebs being grounded, devan and couple others things that happen when fellow cegers met) i began to think why not have a socal meet. i've been wanted to go to one for a while so i figured i would see who would be interested in meeting up. i plan on attending Fabulous Fords but thats in april i was thinking we can meet up before maybe early march. so whos down for a meet and when?

We have tried this in the past without much luck. May I suggest you name a day/place/time and those of us who can go will. I know I want to meet fellow CEGers, but I would like to see more than just 3 cars - no offense to the guys who I met last time.
 
id be down for a meet but i can only do evening meets cuz i only work on the weekends and cant afford to miss a day of work.
 
ok i'm not sure bout a time and date at the moment. i just kinda wanted to see who would be down and when they can make it. i personally can make on the weekends or in the evening during the week. as far as location i am willing to travel, not to far but i'm down for a drive, though i'm less like to drive farer during the week. i'm saying this cause svtracer214 is in sherman oaks and chinaski is in san diego so i don't how far you guys are willing to drive out. as long as we can get a good showing i am down.
 
the OC seems like a good location to me cuz its right in the middle for the people of LA, SD, and other surrounding areas
 
How about this on a Early Saturday morning:

Irvine - Cars & Coffee -Ford - PAG - Mazda Campus - 7905 Gateway Blvd. - 7AM - 9AM

it happens every Saturday so its no big deal which one to pick:cool:
 
the sho meet would have been cool but i think its kinda last minute for most, it is as least for me. i'm interested in the cars&coffee i might attend one since its just a little ways down the freeway. i don't how many we can get to show up to cars&coffee since its early in the morning and some have to drive quite a ways. maybe we can set something up for after for those who can't make it so early. like meet at cars&coffee then meet somewhere else and go for a cruise or something and then grab a bite for lunch.

dude... thats the vietnamese new year...... chinese new year was yesterday and i got to skip school cuz its a cultural holiday for me.

i can only really do a meet in the evenings but if we did something on a sunday like at around 5 or 6 that would be wicked

What about hooking up with SHOcal guys? They have a meeting this Saturday. I have to work this weekend, but this is an option for those who don't. It's in Rancho Cucamonga (recoveryone!).

I read the post and it sounds more like close friends meeting at someones house. Not sure if it would be room for us.

I agree with the Coffee&Cars as a meet start and the ones that get there later can join up and ride, then do lunch.

One of you OC guys need to take charge on this and just set the date and run with it. I'm in for this weekend, on call next weekend and the wifes BD is the weekend after that.

well i can't make it this weekend so it up to you guys if you want to meet this weekend. but i was think the weekend of the 23rd. it can either be the 23rd for the cars&coffee then maybe a ride and lunch or the 24th in the evening for a ride then dinner some where. i don't know just throwing ideas out there. let me know what you guys think. i'm not set on those dates just saying them, but what ever day we can get the most to show up would be great.

I was at C&C last month with my BMW, as it was the represented mark that weekend. To me, it's worth it to get up that early to see such beautiful cars!

Actually, I've been to his place/parents place before, it's very laid back. If you show interest, you're welcome.
 
Well another opportunity missed for us to meet, I'll be at the Farmers Bros Cruise this afternoon from 4pm-7pm by Cal State San Bernardino (Kendall & University) and later at XtremeFords meeting tonight in Rialto. :cool:
 
Well, I'm at work right now, so there would be no meeting for me unless it's at night since I work 12 hour shifts!

I will keep an eye on this to see where and when you guys decide, and hopefully I can come for a few hours!
