oh ok i see what you mean. Any pics of your cars. My shifter cable went out and when i got a new one it broke to with one shift :nonono: getting new parts soon, so no more pics of mine it looks horried

I've got some pics around here somewhere there is a thread at the top of the se form with alot of the guys & their car, SE roll call I think.
& if you broke 2 sets of shifter cables back to back like that I'd try to find out why You might have a sheared shift tower bolt.

check out the transaxle page and it will explain under new focus cables. Bill helped me out witht he problem though. When i didn't have time to do it myself, I got my mechanic to install them. When he didn't do it i checked and the cable, it was actually for the new focus and the links were for the old focus style. Tried to rig it and it didn't work, then Bill pointed me in the right direction and ordered new parts. Then I had an over the counter failure and bill is sending me a new pair of cables.
