I didn't think that the color was going to change based on how the car was taped up for paint ... if the color was going to be changed then the doors would be off so the door jams could also be painted ... can't wait to see the final product

On a more serious note, is this respray the result of your hood episode a while back? Didnt you have some other mechanical problems too? What happened with all of that?

Ya, the hood flying up got the hood, front ring, passenger fender, and roof. Total damages were north of $4k. I got a pretty good deal on my replacement hood and had a few other parts that pretty much made up the rest of what I needed so I put some money with that and had the whole car sprayed.
