Ok, so i picked up a pair of diamond audio d3 12's in a ported box. Ive never had or heard diamond audios but i could not pass up this deal. Im unsure of a good amp to pair with it though. I want something good but not super expensive. thanks

Need to know what the specs of the subs are to even start giving you ideas on amps.... what ohm the subs are and how many voice coils... minimum...

I have the diamond d3.400 amp going to my 2 12" D1's and its a great match. I'd stick with their amps for pairing with their subs, just because they generally make perfect matches. If budget is an issue, check out power acoustik. A good bit of my friends have nothing but good to say about them.

budgets not that big of a deal. i dont wanna drop a G on an amp. i dopnt mind a couple hundred. heres the specs. are these decent sounding subs? i want it to hit pretty hard, but still clear. the box is actually surprisingly well built. 5/8 mdf not 3/4, fully carpeted and very heavy. as i said before i dont know much about car audio. each sub is wired to its own terminal in the box, so theres two terminals cups. with these being dual voice coil and setup like that what sort of ohm(s)? would i be at? 2, 4? just tryin to figure out power levels. thanks again. 312.2 DVC, I'm going to guess they are dual 2 ohms subs... depending on how the voice coils inside the box, and the terminals outside the box are wired, can give you some different loads, you could do... 8 ohm, 2 ohm, and .5 ohm... so a little variety for amp choices..
