What is the BEST full exhaust for the SVT

I got a svt and I just want to know whats the best exhaust for it. I need everyones opinion.

8" piping from the headers back. All Straight pipes.

Actually tho, What do you want? Best sounding? Best Performing?

If price is no object than True Duals are the way to go.

Maybe try the search button...

your other option would to be to come to a CEG meet.... which ironically we are having one saturday at hooters by woodfield [schaumburg]. That would be a good opportunity to check out what everyone else is running, how it sounds, etc.

if you have the money.. go all the way. headers y pipe high flow cat.. all that jaz..

if you're tight on cash. y pipe opt..and a cat back system from trubendz.

check out the FAQs to see what is offered

IMO i love my trubendz non res borla catback. it sounds great for a 6 cyl and it was under $400

Genuine borla.

I regret selling mine! until the rebuild comes, then I wont care!

Its the one you can't get anymore BOSAL, next is the Borla. The rest are probably to noisy. I have the Borla on a vortech blown SVT. Quite off the gas, good music on the gas. Go for it.

This one is pretty nice...

The Trubendz Resonated Magnaflow thats what i bought. love the sound, nice low tone.

Yup. I actually bought the Trubendz Borla kit, Stainless- and then swapped the Borla muffler off the car. So, I basically have what you have, but with three resonators

No rasp at all.

So whats the deal? You didn't like the Borla? Do you like the Magnaflow that much better? I'm thinking about getting a kit very soon and cannot decide btw the Borla resonated kit or the Magnaflow resonated kit.

The Borla was too quiet for how much I spent for it. It's something I was picky about at the time.

Basically, the Trubendz Borla had a low rumble to it but in traffic you just couldn't hear it. At least to me. The Magnaflow has both the low rumble and the volume to be able to hear it- it can be annoying on long drives, but you learn to drive a little differently.

I think everyone has their own tolerances, so everyone's going to respond differently.

For all the haters, I LOVE my non-res magnaflow trubendz. It sounds sweet at a warmed up (low) idle and really made a difference in the higher rpm. I do not get any rasp, I don't know wtf you guys are talking about! Rasp is removing the resonator and running the just the muffler on the stock exhaust, which I am guilty of doing. lol

But yes, as suggested, go to a meet and check what other people are running. And you need to remember there is alot that effect exhaust note! Including motor mods!

none

none

so i have herd arguments for borla and magnaflo trubendz, but what about flowmaster system? If i do get one it will definatly have the resinators, i went to there site and they have sound clips. but the flowmaster sound clip was very poor quality so i couldnt tell what it sounded like. the magnaflow sounded pretty good but i love the way flowmaster sounds when its on a stang so i thought maybe some of that sound would be present in the contour. obviously i understand its not a v8 and will never pull off the sound of a stang but how close is it? any opinions on the flowmaster? oh and does anyone have to pass emissions with one of these systems? does it pass?

I went the whole way (for me at the time) with MSDS headers, free flow cat, and Borla cat back. I love the low rumble (no rasp at all) and it always turns heads. I find myself listening to the sound much more than my radio. Borla is the one.
