car hesitates...

i just got my fuel pump replaced, and changed the fuel filter too and now while i drive it pulls back on me and we had found two vacuum tubes disconnected behind the TB and we only found one vacuum hose so we plugged the other one.... would this be the cause? does anyone know if the top left tube (if ur staring down at it) is supposed to be plugged or if there is supposed to be a hose connected.... any one have pics?? 99 contour zetec

Yes, and yes to it is supposed to be connected.

I think it could be the DPFE sensor.
