Man! This was kinda a p.i.t.a! But it turned out extremely well and in the end was well worth it. I went with a semi-gloss black paint and as you can see it looks great. Thanks for the great "how to" fellas. Here's some pics... P.S. My lower grille arrives this week, and I'm also painting my chrome silver frost.

thanks!!! i was on the fence on whether to keep the sf hightowers,or go black...now i'm 100% sure i made the right choice. i'm staying silverfrost:laugh:

Thanks for the compliments! If I went with the SF paint it would look almost the same as it did stock. There's just not much of a transition between chrome/sf in my opinion.

Just wondering where the name HIGHTOWERS comes from as we call them BLACKEYES over here in the UK?????????

Chris Hightower was credited with being the first one to make this mod to his contour, so the name stuck . . .

I found out, that instead of painting them black... if you take chrome polish to them.. it clears the fake 'chrome' off and leaves a shiny black plastic.. neater, and ALOT faster.. did both headlights in about an hour:laugh:
