OK EGL'ers...
I was born and raised in SE Michigan... and today I am still a die-hard Red Wings fan....
Knowing how intense most ppl in SE MI are about hockey, I am surprised not to see a Red Wings thread here...

Since most people don't watch during regular season:blackeye:

I usually start a thread during the playoffs. That way more people get involved.

I too am a huge Red Wings fan.. I just don't have too much time to cruise around the forums anymore and post up about it :)

And yes, also a Osgood fan, way more than Hasek.

And now it is time for me to go play hockey at Suburban
 
Hasek may be old, but he is anything but garbage.

I miss Ozzie too. And Rutherford, Giacomin, Sawchuck and Vernon!

Vernon for smacking up a much bigger Roy at center ice!

And how about Zetterburg returning with 2 a's in his first game back!

Time for sushi; I'm ordering octopus!
 
It's stressful being a Wings fan these days. You watch them all season long and they dominate - but in the back of my mind is the looming question....what will they do in the playoffs....

I don't know but it seems this year is more promising.
 
I'm going to the game tonight vs. the Wild and its my first game since 97' where I paid $35.00 for standing room only and they lost to the Stars 3-0. The Wings and Pistons are a machine, although the Pistons could use a little "tune-up":crazy:
