Interior trims

Thanks to a fellow Tour guy (on that other site) my dash trims are now complete.

After repairing my dash warp I painted my radio and head light bezels to compliment the color of the dash. IMO that is.


Then I found out 99-00 Mystique wood grain bezels fit the 98+ Tour dashes and well to an o'l carpenter wood is the thing...... even if it is the fake stuff ... lol


Too bad they didn't do a wood grain instrument trim....

What do you think?

Very nice! The 99-00 Mystique trim will also fit a Pre-98 Contour if you swap in a 98-00 center console for the HVAC trim.

so in your carpenter expertise,what kind of wood would you say ford was imitating

Perhaps a mahogany beryl, but it could just as well be a rose wood. There are many possibilities including one of the 1500 species of oak.

Looks nice...I have MNB interior and all my trim pieces, including the door handle frames are painted a gray to match the outside of the car. I think its fun to play around with that stuff
