if my car is in "limp mode" and is running rich, can I disconnect the negative battery cable to get it out of that mode?

that resets the computer, so for about 10 minutes your car will default to factory settings, then relearn all of the information from the rest of the sensors and whatnot on the car, then go straight back into limp mode if something is wrong.

Pull your CEL code, post it, and we will help you fix what is wrong.

currently I do not have a SES, however I had a misfire, fixed it, reset the SES, but it seems like the car is still running rich. Is there anything else it could be?

What would cause the car to run in limp mode? does that mean it will run rich??

Thanks,
Adam
