it was GREAT fun  !!

Sorry for the excitement , but I don't often get the SVT out of the garage anymore , so each time I get the chance to drive it , it's like driving it fresh & new . It's been better than a month since I last drove it , so I figured since I had to move it to work on the wife's Jetta , I might as well take 'er out for a spin .Today was a brisk day , the air was good , clear /cool so it ran especially great , which made the experience even better . I was so happy with it , I changed the serpentine belt (been meaning to do that for a while) .
Now it's going back into the garage till the next local meet ...

That is all :) .

thats why an svt has 2 tail pipes, one for exhaust, and one for you to put your pride in :D, as long as it drives well you should have no problems.

:mad: I don't have my car back yet to drive ... this sucks ... i will get to drive it for about an hour then it will be garaged until spring ...

I know I miss the Contour since I have been driving the Mystique alittle harder then normal ...

I saw the title and thought... oh no, what happened.
I'm glad she ran great for you and that you had fun.
The next time it will be out of the garage is 5 Nov. See ya then.

Good things come to those who wait Brian. ;) Your car is looking fantastic, we don't want to rush perfection. I do know how you feel though.

at least you have a contour/mystique you can drive. Let alone a car with a stickshift. Every time I get into my corolla I groan because I know when I get out of it I will be disapointed.

I like that ... pretty good one :) .

Sorry I scared you , Christine :o . It would be my darn luck though  . Believe me , I think about that all the time . I take good care of it , wash it all the time , keep it ultra-clean , low miles ... then some tool yacking on a cellphone isn't paying attention & BLAM - SVT all gone  . I spend most of my time worrying about watching the other guy & trying to read his mind . I almost wish I would've just beat on the thing from day one , but that's not me .

Don't worry , Brian - you'll drive it more than an hour before you put it away . You'll HAVE to drive it a bit after all this recent action . Gotta show it off , ya know  .

Alias - at least I have our Jettas to drive while the 'Tour sits sleeping - and they're 5-speeds too  . I think they're actually pretty fun little cars to tool around in , day-in day-out . I don't really mind not driving my CSVT (did I just say that ?) , especially on a daily basis . Plus , it keeps the experience fresh for me . Most times I'll go weeks without even seeing my SVT , and it's only down at the bottom of my yard in the garage , LOL :D !
