Quick Keyless remote Question

Does anyone know if a three button remote will work with our cars. It looks just llike the four button one I have but there is no trunk button. I can open the trunk fron inside or with the key so that is not an issue. It also has the same FCC id number on the back.
 
I do believe that someone has done that before. Also i would think that if it has all the same Id numbers on the back that it should work.
 
Roger, if you're really trying to hunt down a remote, I'll just give you that one from the parts car.

I was going to program it on the 00 SVT and sell it with the car but it's not important. The car came with 1 anyways, so they'll just get the same thing I did.

except I believe he is after at least two remotes as his SVT and his daughters didn't come with any remotes
 
Thanks guys, Tony I may take you up on that. I did just pick up a 3 button one on ebay for $7 shipped. I do need some moe though.

Now if someone could actually answer my question. :shrug:
