Cobra update

[F5R Cobra]

A lot of things have conspired (Like work & Family) against me in finishing my FFR Cobra build but have made some progress...

After putting the body & doors on, I didn't like the cramped feeling I got so I decided to "open" up the Driver-side door a little. I made a few measurements and fired up my trusty sawzall.

Extra elbow room!

After a little body filler and sanding

IMHO its a big improvement! Now I fit w/o having to hang one arm over the door like "Grape Ape" in a clown car!

that shifter looks weird for some reason, tilted forward.

you'd also need to post up pics from a bit further out so we can see the whole ride.

That's on purpose. When Shelby built the originals, they put the shifter from a Ford model (not sure which one) in. It was way too far back, so they flipped it around backwards.
