Engine runs rough/shakes when fan comes on

Ever since I bought my Mystique this year the engine runs rough and shakes when the fan comes on--any time the engine gets hot or I run the A/C or heater. It doesn't stall out, but it happens when idling. The engine alternates between running smoothly then running rough. The fan is also pretty loud, but I noticed that on other Mystiques.
What's the remedy for this? Expensive?

mileage? what work have you performed? Any large amounts of vibrations transfered to the cabin probably would have to do with motor/trans mounts, make sure the transmission isnt resting on the subframe, and none of the mounts are crushed/broken.

do you possibly have a sound clip of this loud fan?

No sound clip, but the car has about 70k.
