he's just a chevy man. i remember seeing a pic of the ferrari when i was real little. it was light blue which is really kinda cool cause of the rarity

from the looks of it on the back, it's clearly just a Pontiac GTO :nonono:

God bless the FIA and it's homologation requirements in the 80's . . . it forced the creation of some of the coolest road cars ever. The 288 GTO, the RS200, the Sierra Coswoth, the Lancia Delta Integrale, and several others.

Is it just me.. or does it look A LOT like a ford GT?
I was thinking more Magnum P.I.. For what it's worth, once a mid engined design is chosen, there aren't too many ways to go about it that haven't been done already in some way or another so it's not hard to imagine that various mid engined cars are going to resemble some others. Personally, I don't see too much similarity with the Ford GT except the fact that it's a two seater mid engined machine. I think the Lamborghini Miura more closely resembles the Ford GT or it's GT40 namesake.

The Magnum P.I. referrence is close. The 288GTO was based off of a stretched and widened 308.

The 288 GTO would be second only to an F40 if could have any road going Cavallino...

*Factoid - in Evoluzione trim it put out over 600HP!
