Its a very sad day. Watched my car go home with a new owner today. I never thought i would ever sell that car, but i guess times change.
Good luck with the car Chris!

At least you know it's going to a good home.
Still it's sad.

did you already replace it with something??

btw, i have some $ for you, just been busy :crazy:

but i have sent a few referrals your way at least....

I saw the classifieds ad and told my brother, he said if it was warmer out we could take a road trip so he could look at it... He's been looking for either a CSVT or FSVT...

Now that i've got mine every time we go somewhere he wants to drive it... :D

thanks:laugh: . mike,i felt kinda bad as i was leaving and you were standing there staring:cry:
all in all,car made the trip fine, misfire sucks. and the search for body panels began before i even bought the car:o

parkedcar - The last time you made a post with that subject wording, it was because the car was significantly damaged! I thought it was totalled by a 95 PGT this time around, was scared to even open the topic.

95pgt-t, congrats!

Yeah, missfire sucks, but some days you dont even know its there.
It was sad watching it drive away and knowing its not coming back. But i know you'll bring her back to life and i'll get another one someday.

Yes i did replace it already. I got a 1998 Audi A4 Quattro 1.8T. You can see it in the first pic. It was only $2000 with 97,000 miles. Spent $450 on a new turbo, trans filter, fluids, radio, etc. So it wasn't a bad deal at all and its AWD which is awesome! I like it but it still isn't the SVT.

the misfire is really only present at low rpm w/high load.
i'll send you pics of her in the spring all prettied up:laugh:

if was out there in the night spraying them...didnt see anything but when i move the rear wire you could hear little snapping noise's.

or, replace the plugs and wires, and use lots of dialectic grease on the connections. it'll go away :)

don't use "lots" of dielectric grease as that isn't good, use to much and you could prevent the wires from clipping onto the plug as they should. The grease isnt that compressable. You want to use enough to coat the bottom of the wire boot contacts the plug

Misfire could be Cylinder 2 center rear.. Take a look at the plug, carbon tracking happened to me. To original poster: very nice Audi find!
