How does the Z24 treat you? I have no idea why but I've always loved the look of that generation Cav coupe.

The Z24 has been great. Trouble free it has about 63,XXX miles on it and the only thing I have replaced on it other than normal maintenance (Plugs, belts, fuel filter, oil and so on) was the water pump. It is a bit quicker than my contour but I say that only because the cavalier is a smaller car. Im actually more confortable in my contour being 6'2". Nice little daily driver nothing to special but it gets me where I need to go. The z24 has been lowered with Ground Control Coil overs just to give it a better stance. I went through a crazy time and had all the "riced" out items on it like CF hood with pins and altezzas but I final put it back to stock and I just love it. I also put in a CF intake on it to wake up the little 4 banger a bit. Thanks for asking. Oh and I do like the body style as well, just looks really nice.

Wow biminiLX! only 3k miles? I bet it still smells brand new! I was wondering who you got to clean the car up! So that is natural! Lucky! Sorry she has to see the snow too, she is a virgin!!! Careful with her!

1985 Ford Bronco. This was my first car where I swapped in a bigger engine. Went from a carb'd 300 straight six to a fuel injected 351w. The Contour 3L was a lot easier.

notice recent spoiler removal....( holes filled and prep.d )

Here's my old 95 Escort GT which was sold to buy the SVT. It had a custom exhaust with universal muffler, all the resonators deleted, and a Catco high flow cat. Also it had Aerospeed coilovers with KYB GR-2's and a set of aftermarket 15 inch 5 spokes. Excuse the fact that the fart can is hanging down, my one exhaust hanger had broken.

Here's my old 98 E0 SVT with little mods done here and there, that is now owned by jdbinks.

And my current DD, an 01 Saab 9-5 Aero. So far it has a Saab sport exhaust and the BBS 2-piece wheel options. More to come though.

I'll see if I can find some pics of my old 89 MX-6 which was my first car, my 87 Accord beater, and my slammed 94 Galant.

man...

man...

Alright, I cannot believe I found this. Here is the pic of my first car, 1987 Nissan Maxima Sport Edition, MTX. Man, I loved this car. I actually washed it almost every night when I got home from work when I was 16. The bad part of this is when I originally scanned this, it was a black and white scanner. Good thing it was a black car.... I scanned this when I was 16 I think.

My second ride was a 1992 Ford Explorer XLT 4x4 auto. With the 4.0L V6 pushing 155hp. It had running boards, and a great navy blue/ silver paint job. It was a fun ride! I installed the 95Watt alternator and paired it up with 2 50watt Spots on the front. It was like driving in the daylight all the time! Sorry, Cannot find a pic of it. I will see what I can find. Here is just a teaser:

When my sister bought a '96 camaro, I had to get a sports car. It was just too fun to drive! Within a week, I found a 1993 3000GT and picked it up. This car was the biggest whole in the world. I lost so much money in that car, it is embarrasing! Anyway, I have a pic of it, but mom still has it somewhere. Here is a teaser for it.

I was in so much debt, I was really happy to sell this thing for $2500 to a local ROTC student. He is actaully trying to get $5000 out of it! I saw it in the paper the other day! haha! It had the pearl white paint, beautiful.

The next thing was a 1994 Jeep Cherokee, it was actually pretty quick. It had the 190HP Inline HO 6 in it. It was a vehicle I enjoyed until I ran into the back of a Nissan SUV who pulled out in front of me... Ouch. Here is a teaser too:

Actually that looks identical to it. It was only 2wd, but still fun. I got $1850 from insurance when I wrecked it and bought a 1996 Green Dodge Stratus. Ugly, but was amazing on gas. I got 36mpg in this thing, but it was so slow! It had the 4 in it, and thank God it had a 5sp, I wouldn't have been able to do anything without it. Here it is at Meridian State park in TX. On a camping trip.

I sold it also for $2,500. Tells you how bad the 3000GT was... I found a 1998 BMW 328i 5sp I just had to have. I still have it. I love it. Fast and fun. Here it is.

Well, a guy offered to buy this beauty. I figured it sold and bought a 1997 BMW M3 automatic. Wow, talk about power! Love that torque! Here is a pic of it. (I still have the 328i, the guy backed out!)

Well, I had once raced a Contour SVT and was amazed at its performace and always kept my eye out for one. I finally found one. It is a 2000 MTX #1462, and here is a very poor pic of it.

Well, I just bought another car. It is a SC400 conversion. It is basically a soarer (euro-lexus/supra) twin turbo in a lexus body. And yes, 95pgt-t, the supra has the 3.0L Turbo. They actaully made a 2.5L turbo too. It is called the 1JZGTE. I am not sure if any US Supras had that engine in them or not. Thanks for the note... It dyno'd at 350hp at the crank, and is putting 308hp to the rear wheels. Here is a pic of it.

And here is the 2.5 twin turbo under the hood:

Thats all for now!

Ok, The supra and the soarer did have the 3.0L options. And these were the only engines in the US. This engine is the same engine out of the Mark III supras. It was the Twin Turbo Type R. It was only availible in Japan.

[JZA70] [1990-1992] [2.5 L (2491 cc) 1JZ-GTE Twin Turbo I6] [280 hp (209 kW)] [268-272 ft·lbf (363-368 N·m)] [5-speed R154 manual]
[4-speed A340E automatic] [JPN]

It has a few mods bumping the hp up 70. It is basically a Toyota Soarer. It had the same 2.5L TT-R in it. Good question though.. The supra, lexus SC, and the Toyota Soarer are all pretty much the same car, just different body panels.
