Any Magnaflow experts?

Looking to replace the supertrapps with magnaflows... and I have 2 options that I like... I want to know which ones of these with be quieter?

Option A

Option B

Now, i also see that the oval ones are angle cut and the round ones are flat, i am on the fence about which will look nicer... anyone got examples of these exact mufflers on a svt?

Round looks ricey, and I believe the oval mufflers would be quieter because they are larger.

i like the tips better too, i just want it quieter as i will have no cats, jsut an xpipe, 2 resonators, and then 2 of one of those style mufflers, and headers...

i hope it doesnt sound like crap, so i want the more quieter muffler...

i got two magnaflow #14832 on mine with headers and no resonators. its very raspy on high rpms till its been warmed up. then its nice. mine are round tips dual walled.

I swapped out the Supertrapps for Magnaflows for a while. Too loud and some rasp, IIRC (which I may not). I went back to the Supertrapps. There are probably comments in the archives...

well, what i am hoping to do is have my headers, then the flexs, then an x pipe, then "true duals" back to two magnaflow resoantors and those mufflers, and trying to get a grip of how it will sound...

MLuko, do you have headers on your car? Or are they stock manifolds?

i liked the way option B looked .. not until i saw it on the car, i would go with the same one Slvr SVT has .. looks great. thats what i am shooting for also .

well.. for sound... a 6" round will have more room for sound absorbing material than a 5x7" will (slightly) although I bet they sound about the same. I personally prefer oval however since they offer more clearance. I ended up going with oval magnaflows for my setup.
