ok when i got my infinity kappas they came with those black plastic rings. i didnt use them but im thinking they might help with vibrations. is this correct? and what exactly is there use?
Yes i have dynomat in all doors

I believe what your talking about is clearance spacers.. some speakers come with them.. If they are plastic its likely just to give the magnet a little more clearance behind the speaker by spacing it out from the door.

I know what youre talking about. They were taped onto the speaker when i pulled them out of the box. I didn't use mine. I don't think they are for vibration.

SVTJON87- What did you do with your crossovers?

When I put mine in I first let them sit in the bottom of the door. Bad idea once it began to rain. Instead I wrapped mine in buddle wrap and some electrical tape and zip-tied them through some small holes and the bulge where the door panel juts out a little bit.

Are you using dynamat for those too? The door panels on my pass side rattle hardcore on continuous low frequency bass hits.

EDIt- nvm the dynamat statement, I saw youre using it.

hey sorry i didnt get back to you sonner. i was out of town. i have my crossovers ziptied on the inside of the door panal. now im gunna put some speaker baffals in soon and when i do im gunna put my crossovers in a bag of some sort to keep them dry. as far as dorr pannals rattaling. i think it just my windows rattaling cause when my windows are up nothing rattals yet. and my windows are kinda loose when down but i dont feel like spending money for new window regulators. anyway im gunna go drive the svt. i havent driven it in 4 days!! i have withdraw
