From what I understand the seats arent completely leather. Only perforated portions are actual leather. Im guessing the other portions are actually vinyl. Now whether he knows that, who knows.

Perforated areas and bolsters are leather. basically, anything that faces upward or forward, or would touch you while you sit in the seat. The sides and seatbacks are vinyl.
