I think the interior in this SVT might give Steeda's a run for its money.

I think Steeda's car had the edge before he cleaned it up, but this one is still pretty bad. I'm thinking about sending the guy an email and asking him if the dirt is included.

Any other ideas of what I could email him?

:shocked:

Wow, looks like the guy doesn't know anything about cars. Or at least, doesn't have the appreciation for them enough to own a CSVT!

Ford dealers should have done "Previous vehicle maintenance" checks on all prospective CSVT buyers!

That seat actually looks to be in really good condition. Looks like a potentially low mileage(haven't looked at the ad) SVT that went sand-duning(is that a word?). :crazy:

"The interior is in decent condition except for the rear seat has a hole in it on the drivers side."

He calls that "DECENT CONDITION"?

no, that red SVT that steeda cleaned up was absolutely digusting, you would have thought the prarie tan interior was black.

Not worth the hassle unless you openly desire to rebuild the car with other parts. Mistreated. :nonono:

That's about how bad my Mystique looked. I am going to have to take the whole interior apart (when I get the new carpet), and pressure wash the whole thing.

Build date for that car is 7/31/97, correct me if I'm wrong, but that would likely make it one of the early production SVT's right? Based on the OASIS at least someone in it's history took pretty good care of it. The last warranty claim is from 2002 though, so who knows whats been done to it in the last 5 years.

I think I might ask him how me managed to get prarie tan carpet in his midnight blue interior SVT. Oh wait....thats dirt. :troutslap:

LMAO! :laugh::laugh::laugh:

What's this about a flashing airbag light being enough not to pass an inspection??? Hmm, I got an emissions test coming up, I better see if they are going to look at that. Mines been flashing for a while.

I got's to know -- why would you not clean a car up prior to sale? Pictures of dirt? Jeez oh Pete. :laugh:

They're talking about a mechanical safety inspection that is required in most jurisdictions when a used car is registered to a new owner. The airbag light shouldn't have any bearing on the Ontario DriveClean emissions testing, however the facility you take it to might potentially refuse to test it on the basis that the car has a safety defect. Oh, and if your car has ABS, the ABS light might be on after the test. It's not a big deal and it should go away in a day or two at most.

"The interior is in decent condition except for the rear seat has a hole in it on the drivers side. Something spilled on thevinyl and it ripped." Ya he really knows his cars huh?
