Stuck taking UIM off.. Need help.

Just in the process of doing the UIM/LIM rebuild.

How do I free the UIM from the tube that enters the UIM just below the throat of where the trottle body mates. Did that make any sense? I would post a photo but my camara is at work.

if its what im thinking is it a brass colored tube? if so that leads to the pcv valve. There should be a rubber coupler that just slides off it.

hold down the outer little ring that is AROUND the two black tubes
while holding the tubes down, pull UP on the actual hose itself.

Try to pull AT the "bend" or "elbow" of the tube, as any where further away from the UIM can snap those tubes.
