Help! Coolant Leak?

i came home last nite and i noticed my car was smoking, there wasn't a smell of burning oil. it was more like coolant, i think. :shrug: i can't see anything from the engine bay, but it is evaporating something that was dripping on the exhaust, again it doesn't smell like oil. i did blow the top radiator hose a bit ago, but i don't see anything leaking from it since i replaced it. i have no idea where this could be coming from, anybody ever have this problem before?

Test it during daylight. That way you can see where the smoke is coming from. Chances are one of the lower/return hoses are leaking on top of the front exhaust manifold area.

actually it's coming from the back(firewall) side and i can't see where it's coming, sorry forgot to mention that.

Most probably the hose(s) to/from the heater core.

i couldn't see anything leaking from the heater core hoses yesterday. so i took it to a shop this morning and they said it was a power steering line that was rubbing on the manifold and that's what was leaking. u'd think power steering fluid would smell a bit funny when it makes contact with the manifold. :shrug:

apparently some bracket broke off so the metal line from the power steering started rubbing on the manifold. lol, i can't even picture how this happened, probably a bracket i might have broke while working on the car. :blackeye:
