today afterwork, i cold started my car and it did not hold the idle, in fact, the car did not actually start until put some gas to the ignition. whenever i stopped the car, it would die until i got the car warmed up and then it ran fine. while i was driving it home, there seemed no loss in performance or odd sounds coming from the engine bay. anyone got a clue whats wrong or what needs to be replaced?

i didnt have any cel codes go off, i dont think its a vacuum leak cuz once the car was at operating temp, it stopped having the idle issues.

now my car is having trouble starting. i now have to put some gas when i start the car so it can start. i think there may actually be something wrong with my fuel system. im thinkin that my car is not getting enough gas when i cold start the car cuz it works fine once the car is warmed up.

i replaced the valve and i still got the same problem. it has trouble starting and when i do get it to start it dies immediately.

Dying at idle, and trouble starting in these instances would indicate either faulty
IACs, or a massive vacuum leak (either at the IAC "elbow" tube that plugs in to the side of the IAC) or elsewhere in the intake system.

Did you remember to plug in the "elbow" hose to the IAC itself?
