Who has the 1998.5....

i think its got NY inspection sticker or somethin. i posted about it a while ago, asking a little too much for over 100k. It is clean though
 
I wish I had the money for this car. The guy that is selling it definitely has connections at a Ford dealership, cuz he was selling a NICE Bronco a couple months ago, as well as ALWAYS having SOME Ford vehicle for sale in his yard. I wish I had the money, I'd totally buy that car, because it's in town and I know it'll be in good shape...
 
there is one down in South Windsor not far from that contour you looked at before thats going for 2995 iirc, at least that is what ctmystique said it was listed for on the web page ...

nope as that one is in Wesport not South Windsor :help:

no this one has about 92k iirc, needs two front fender and a passanger side side skirt, interior is mint, under side of the car looks to be ok, has new headlights ... so it could be hit or miss ....

Hmm, seems like it was involved in a rather bad front-end collision...New headlights, and it needs new fenders and sideskirt? Ehh...

I drove by there today and didn't see it in it's usual spot. Sold?? Didn't stop in to examine further.

I did see one in the dealer only auction lot though. This one was black though.

Well...

I guess anything thats RUNNING right now would be worth the $$....my SVT Focus is dying AGAIN!! I thought the SVT "tours had some quirky issues, but this car has them beat by a mile!! I pulled two codes , both on fuel delivery....I just dropped 500$ for a new alternator and wiring- this car only has 61k highway miles on it, for god's sakes!

Anyway, I digress....how much for the SVT in east Longmeadow again??

How many miles are on that?!?! That's a chunk of change for a used SVT if it has high miles!! You know anything about the owner- I read somewhere on this thread that he is a Ford Tech...

Well, I don't KNOW that he's a Ford tech, but he DEFINITELY has connections to nice Ford vehicles. He always has SOME nice Ford vehicles for sale in his front yard.

Maybe he's just a Ford freak.....I'll have to stop and look at that car- my son really wants either that car or an SVT Lightning (the older 93-95 model with the 351 Windsor in it). But, like I told him, have fun driving that truck in the winter...it can be done, but I'd prefer a front-wheel drive vehicle myself.
 
It definitely wouldn't hurt to go talk to him. Maybe he can give you an in-depth look at the car if he in fact is a Ford tech...
