I've had this noise since I bought my car, and it goes away when the clutch is pushed in. I recently noticed the noise also happens when I start the car, almost like valve tick but I'm 99% sure its from the transmission since it is an identical sound to gear roll over. Lately I've been making much longer city drives and when I pull into my driveway, the noise is so loud. I read that the noise supposedly gets louder when the clutch gets worn, but my clutch is only 10k old and grabs as hard as when it was new, so I don't think its worn. I don't really have a question just wanted to see who else has the same noise.

Don't worry. It's normal for a SPEC clutch. Almost all of them do it.

Mine does it very loud. Everyone thinks something is wrong with my motor.

I can't resist saying that this is the sort of thing that you'll have to expect when you stray from what the designers had in mind when they planned out the vehicle with regards to things such as driveability vs. performance and even reliability. So it shouldn't come as any surprise that things are going to seem different because, well, they are.
