I am sad now that the 3L turbo is gone.
Cruising down woodward wasting on cars 3 lanes across was a blast. Hopefully the new owner drives the car like you did, lol.
At least you still have contour and a sweet escort, haha.

May reebs' turbo 3L beast live on in the SE-Mich car scene.

i can say that i definitely can and do drive how that car should be driven. i took it for a few test runs around chrysler headquarters last night *at legal speed* and it was a blast. also i have just never had so much fun getting on freeways.

We'll have to get out to woodward / gratiot one more time before the snow comes. PM me your number or something.

BTW, how many pounds of boost are you running?

both those turbo'd SVT's were two of the nicest SVT's on CEG even without the turbos. Hey Robert did you sell yours local?

Yeah mine is in the process of being sold but I cant say to who...although you may already know I'm assuming :D

I miss the car already. :( Car went from Reebs to Steebs. Let me know when you guys go cruising, I want to ride with you guys. It will make me sad being the passenger in the Steebsmobile though. Too many memories with that car. It was the car that I owned the longest (about 2 years). All I wanted is for it to stay local, so I am happy as can be about that. I just almost cried when Steebs took off from my house and I heard the BOV going off in the distance. Good memories for sure. I am still in the Contour family with my SE though, just a few horsepower less!

Congrats Steebs.

i'm running it at 10psi in theory, but i thought i saw it creep to 12 or 13 today, so i'll have to adjust it a little

If it touches 12 psi, that is perfectly fine. It settles right back down to 10psi or less. It is the TurboXs Manual boost controller that bleads alot of air at first to delay the wastegate from opening, then the boost settles down to 10psi, or even less once the wastegate is dumping. Plus, it richens up nice at 12psi with more boost psi on the mechanical fuel pressure regulator by keeping it closed and increasing pressure in the rail. No tourboom here Todras, lol.
