I decided to head out to the weekly car show held at this place called Auto Zone, not the parts store but rather a collectables store that's held every Saturday morning during the early spring/summer/fall monthes and because its in the mid 80's here in SEMI I knew there'd be a good turnout and I was NOT disappointed one bit!!! Check out these pics...

A VERY rare, especially to our shores, danish warmer

The next time your at a show and see one of the "mid year" Corvettes (1963-67) just look at the car from any angle, especially standing behind one and looking how the it comes to a point towards the back, the car is a work of art and will NEVER be de-throned! I can't wait to be able to drive one...someday:shrug:

I've always loved those years of porsche. The last one, the grey one, how much do those run nowadays? I would love to pick one up one day

lol...great mind depending on who you ask!

Why is that same viper missing fog lights:shrug::laugh:

i didn't notice that...perhaps some kinda "dual ram air" setup using the fog holes?? though that's be kinda weird...the hood scoop is in the optimal position for ram air...or maybe there's turbo's mounted there?? Hey roger - you need to find that car and get more pics, we need to clear this up!

A fairly rare car indeed. My expertise lies in cars from '89 to '98. However, I think it's a 1973 911S. It appears original as from the factory. The air intakes near the headlamps are the key. If they had been chrom the car would have been a '72. Black with impact bumpers (first ever bellows) signify '74. Side view mirrors also changed that year from round to the rectangle one seen.

A 2.4 litre pumping out 190HP and 158TQ with a curb weight of ~2200Lbs. insured a very spirited driving experience.

There were 1359 Coupes produced. New in 1974 the car sold for $10,066. Current values range from $22,000 - $35,000.

The Holy Grail of early 911's is its stable-mate, the 1973 911RS. Never sold in the US, it was the superlative sports car. 2.7 Liters pumped out 210HP/188TQ but the big deal was curb weight, down to 2117Lbs. Some clones go for $50,000 or more. Originals are trading in small numbers for between $100,000 and $200,000.

To get an idea of the performance, whack 1000Lbs. off of your run of the mill CSVT...

Great pics Roger!
