so I am driving down the highway and see this nice setup, Mercedes pulling a Porsche 911 turbo. Even pulling the Porsche that Mercedes pulled away from my 94 Olds, I had it on the floor and this guy just walked away

Then this afternoon a friend of mine comes over with his ffr cobra replica, I helped him get it running when he still had the body off of it, he brought it over and let me drive it and get some pictures of it. its got a roush 402r in it with 525hp, 525ft. lbs. . It really is a very fun car to drive and sounds great.

and I got a video of him pulling out, sorry crappy Quality

very nice, we saw a replica today but nowhere near as nice as your buddies.

I got to drive the cobra and it is very quick. very very quick
He does have some suspension issues causing some bump steer that we hope to have sorted out shortly, then he said we can let loose with it. He also said I could drive it at Grattan next year!! I cant wait.

So you know the guy that owns that cobra... I mean no offense, but I have to ask, is he as big an ass as he comes across at car shows?

BTW, the suspension issues are the result of a compromised front suspension geometry in order to accommodate the 15" replica wheels (of the style your buddy has).

no he is a nice guy, but a bit stuck up sometimes. The wheels are 17" pin drives, his main issue was that the tie rod ends where in the knuckle from the wrong direction, that took care of a lot of bump steer, he also had a noise/vibration from the driveline that was due to incorect rear pinion angle

I was hoping it was just the way he comes across at shows, the car is too nice to be in the hands of someone that isn't.

Since he is using the 17" version of that wheel, and does not need the clearance for the 15" version, replacing/modifying the upper ball-joint mount and a few other subtle alterations can improve the front suspension/steering geometry and really make the car turn.
