Well i'm saying goodbye to my SVT! No reason really it runs strong, it's been a blast, but after being car jacked the descouragements been too much, to have to take it from where it was, back to that state or better... I've always wanted a Saab Aero, and came across one, so i jumped on it! I absolutely love the thing, it's compftorable, faster then my SVT, turbo'd, more accessories, etc. etc... imo it's just an all around better more versatile car! anyhow enough chit-chat here she is!

I'm sure theres more i'm missing but the list is long enough already!

now the downside! The car is at Saab currently getting a new short-block due to previous owner not knowing sh*t about saabs & maintenance of saabs (mostly an hoil issue , type of oil & oil change intervals)

Feel free to leave question and comments! Thanks fella's! i will still be posting on CEG no matter what tho!

Welcome to the Saab club!

I'm thoroughly enjoying my Aero and ater 3,000 miles I have zero complaints!

In all honesty they are pretty zippy. We've owned 2. The one above (auto) and a 97 'vert manual. My only complaint was they are dogs until the turbo hits.

Do you have kids? Go grocery shopping alot, lol? j/k man, i like it

You have the same car as my mom. . . seriously.

 Yeah, yeah, make your granny grocerie getter mokes... Until i get money to mod it and i come flying past you with full loada' groceries in the back  naw jk. it is quick, and about the turbo lag, it's not that bad, but if you think about it, how fast can an inline 4 be luggin around a big ole wagon, but once boost hits it's supprisingly fast. and all i've done to it thus far, is an intake and resanator delete. Thanks for the comments. once i get it back from the shop and install the rest of the parts i have ordered, i'll post more pictures. All that you can see to differentiate it from any other Aero wagon are the smoked side markers, and the BBS's, but like i said, there's much much more to come! :D

^ Nice, the BBS wheels are the nicest "OEM" wheel offered by Saab in my oppion, they're NOT cheap at all either, at least the w pieces ones arn't. they also have a 1 peice BBS RK wheel... can't wait to get mine back.

As far as the interior someone said they're plain, i used to think the same thing before i got it, and owned one, that was one of my biggest issues, but once your inside, sittin in the driver's seat, it's actually quite nice, and they'res quite a few controls, actually opposite of plain in person... the only thing i don't like about my interior is the "wood" trim. i have simulated carbon fiber (24x84" sheet) that looks REAAALLY nice, im debating trying to wrap the dash trim (around gauges/radio/etc & center console) if it comes out without wrinkles it should look awsome with the all black interior!

my station wagon is faster!

Another troll joins us.

lol nice... lovely how newbies are greeted here... and i'm not a troll, i have a 99 CSVT :P, but even if i didn't, shame on you! :nonono:

Why bother?

Sad to see ya sell the SVT Shaff, but I can understand the seeling when your things gets jacked.
GL with it.

Yeah to me... but i've always liked, and wanted an Aero... and when i saw this Aero wagon i fell in love with it, i like wagons (some) they are just cool, and with it being a saab aero 2.3T it's pretty quick too stock. which it wont be for very long, along with it being a quite attractive wagon, up there with the M wagons (BMW) ans S wagons (audo) Plus the features, power, reliablity, etc... all around it's just a smart move and an upgrade to be honest. I've loved my svt, and it will be missed, but i can have as must fun in the wagon and still have the versatility and unique status of owning a nicely modded luxury sports wagon. i'll post more pics when i get some of the parts i ordered installed. I want to get a "base line" Dyno and then dyno it after each 'significant' mod... ie 3" downpipe, then 3" cat back, Delivery Pipe, intake pipe, Forge BOV, Tune, etc...

I'll still have the SVT for a bit until it's sold so after i get it back from ford running again (i'm taking it down there tomorrow) we'll have to go on some fun
spirited cruises before i let'er go :(

btw to anyone else who has a saab, particularly a 9-5 , Aero or not feel free to post some pictures!
