Softtop Contour?

Hmm, what's interesting about this to me is that I saw my first Mystique with a TAN soft top on it. All the others I've seen pics of were blue...

weight savings! ....NOT! Why WOULD there be any benefits??? It's a purely aesthetic difference!

It's bad enough we're driving old people cars, but to throw on a faux soft top. You may as well get your walker out!

It's not a true "soft top." It's merely a canvas glued onto the regular roof. I've seen some 1980s Town Cars and such with the canvas missing, and the glue residue that remains is NOT pretty.
