Started pulling the engine and trans out from the top today to replace the slipping auto transmission.
Have a question for those that have done this in the past. Do I need to remove the radiator to get enough space to lift the engine/trans out? I already removed everything from the top, including the coil pack and it looks like it might or might not be enough to squeeze it out, but would like to know before start lifting it.
Tomorrow the axles are coming out, the exhaust is getting disconnected and the AC compressor is being removed from the block. Then all it’s left are probably draining the coolant and removing the coolant lines from the top of the trans.
