I actually deflated the rear tires, stuck the rims over them, and re-inflated and pinched them in the rim. They stay in quite well and are driveable, but I only did it slow and will not do it again. The front tires are to small to do that, so I snapped the pic with the tires in the wheels. I think I will have PRT mock up some knuckles from a contour to fit my go-kart.... this is going to be sweet...

onder:uhhh... nice donk kart! hah, i'd go with some 10-12" rims off a mini cooper, that way you get a cool ass wheel some nice rubber, and dont lose all that torque :laugh:

true, true - I have some 16" focus wheels too that I could throw on instead... These are soo big on the go-kart, it just looks sick - people were driving by when I had it in the driveway, and just starring like the circus just came to town! This will happen....

You're also going to need to fab up a differential for the rear, since that thing didn't turn worth a damn with those tires. I'm sure Josh will be able to do that once he finishes the Mirko skidplate, brake kit, air/oil separator...
