Well, today I took in the 95 to get it inspected and had it done by someone I know. We had it up on the lift and as it turns out, ALL of the rear trailing arms are bent. So, i'm at a loss on what to do with the car at this point. I'm debating parting the car out but i'm not sure i'll get anything for it. The car does have leather, lip spoiler, and sideskirts but that's about it... I'm sure I could part out all of the little stuff.

Anywho, on the way home from the failing inspection, The car starts to overheat and after a little troubleshooting, the car needs a water pump.

So, if I wanted to resell the car and get anything for it, i'd have to drop another $40 into a water pump and then install it.

Parting it out at this point seems like the best idea. All I want at this point is to get my money back out of the car and get rid of it.

On the bright side, I got the new rear trailing arms in the SVT and that'll be going on the road tomorrow... :D

No, its still here. I had a buddy that was going to buy it. But after what I learned today and the water pump going, I can't sell it to him anymore. He doesn't want to do any work to it.

Plus, I agreed that i'd have one car gone ASAP once I got the SVT, which is the only reason my parents didn't throw a fit over me having 3 cars...

...how much are you looking to get for the car as a whole? (PM me details of course.)

Wait, judging by your sig...I'm a bit late.

He still has it, I think...I'd buy it, but my Mystique is in pieces already (repairing after deer), I have no room! Control arms aren't too costly, just not the easiest DIY repair. They are very thin metal.

Nope, just didn't update the sig yet... You have a pm...

The problem is, both the front and rear control arms in the rear are bent. The rear (toe) arms are easy to do, I just did those in about 45minutes on my SVT yesterday. But, from what i've been told you have to drop the subframe to do the front (still rear) control arms. And on that car, everything so so damn rusty that it'd be virtually impossible. Maybe it'd be easier than I think, i'm not sure...

That's a bummer!
Hope you can get a quick sale.

How's the SVT?

How's the SVT?

The SVT is nice, I got the interior done a couple days ago, exterior isn't perfect but its pretty good. It's completely detailed with the exception of a coat of wax or two...

Did you see the pics in pics and vids??

I didn't see them before. I just went back and found your thread.
Nice find! With some TLC that SVT should be looking good again.

I got a coat of wax on it yesterday. The car looks good. Only problem is the front bumper and hood have quite a few small rock chips. I don't think this car had ever been waxed before...

On the bright side, the interior looks brand new, the exterior I would give an 8/10... So all in all not bad at all!

I've got a wedding to go to today so i'll try to get some pics of the car up either tomorrow or monday.

Pen_Two is no longer interested in the car due to how much work the car needs. I think at this point I may make an interest check post in classifieds for parting it out. If there is interest, I will just part it out.

Do the WP yourself and then get rid of it. I swear in the past two months my car has literally been falling apart. Still have to fix my moonroof and the hood is out of the question - I simply have to replace it. I replaced my drivers side tie rod and the clunk is still there so I have to look at it all over again.

So, I know how you feel.
