A few months ago I took out my original cluster which had S&H gauges, and decided to go back to stock with the cluster from my parts car. In the time I racked up some mileage and now with my stock cluster back in, the mileage is not correct obviously. That cluster is coming back out of the car again when I get my parts cars cluster back from MattR after he mods them and I need to bring 97k up to about 119k.

Can I connect anything to the plug on the back of the cluster and make it roll forward? Or am I outta luck?

I know with a '95 odo you can completely remove it from the speedo housing and roll it forward. Can't roll it back though! I experimented with the one out of my parts car and connected it to a cordless drill. Ran it up 2000 miles in about a minute or so. I have no idea if this will work with newer models, but I don't see why it wouldn't.

get the speedo out of the cluster and remove the face and the drive motor ... you can turn the numbers higher by hand or I used a dremel with a soft wire brush to turn it forward fast

yes, you can roll it forward. I had to roll an svt cluster that had about 3K miles on it (someone totalled it the car). Did it forever ago, but I think I took off the plastic backing and was able to roll it forward.
