Can kinda see new sidemarkers, mirko is on order (seems like forever). Doing hightower and oval tomorrow.

Its funny after your comment that one post, thats all I think about, how much my chrome lights dont flow with the black wheels, sails, and sidemarkers. So I finally just said I need to do it. If steeda's buddy ever posts some pics, I will be picking up an OEM cf hood too.
 
ha no actually I used a table to keep camera steady for HDR picture ( you need 3 at different exposures). Unfortunatley it didnt stay steady enough. Either way its a decent pic, not calender quality though...lol
 
those are the LED side markers that were for sale in the classifieds right? Need a close up pic of them on. How did you wire them? Do they illuminate how they are supposed to even though they are LED or do you get hyper flashing, delayed flashing or anything? How do you like them/fitment, etc.?

no they are not led. I just got these online, smoked the lense and wired them to only run with turn signals. But I will get closer pics either way.

ah I see. I thought they looked like the ones that were for sale in the classifieds. I need to get myself a nice set of LED side markers that will work/mount correctly
 
Noticed all you people talkin HDR **** lately.. I just went out and tried this, too cool :cool::cool::cool:

I'm probably light years behind everyone I've never heard of HDRi in rendering.

Can't wait to see your car with high towers and oval.
 
Yeah I thought it was really cool, but it doesnt really look that great if the original pic isnt a good one. So HDR hasnt really been that easy of a process for me.

I was just gonna suggest a c/f hood! it'd flow really nice with the Silver and Black you got going on... You considered eye-lids ? i think along with the mirko and hightowered lights, it'd make the car look that much meaner!

I'd steer clear of LED side markers only because they tend to look as if they're lighting up faster then your blinkers because they illuminate strait to on and back to off, unlike the bulbs that have to illuminate and glow and so forth... just my $.02 :shrug:

Because you've only seen SF's with light colored wheels. (like mine when I was fabricating this set)

But if you co-ordinate everything, like on svt4stv's old car (who I was building that set above for) it can be pulled off easily!

wow yeah there is a HUGE difference with different wheels. Man what I would give for those projectors...:drool:
 
Finished oval and hightowers tonight. Letting everything cure and stuff then will take pics tommorow, but wow it looks a TON better!

hey pud, you got any pics of a SF hightowered with eyelids in that memory bank of yours? i actually do like your old car with the hightowers, maybe its the angle of the pic or something...i dont know but id be interested in doing it if i could see it with eyelids, i think that might look sexy

My car has black hightowers and silver frost eyelids. I'll pm you a link to pics
