My "new look"

Somewhat out of need, and somewhat out of want, I had a few new things painted. Besides what you see, I got my mirko redone as well. My front grill tabs had cracked to hell, plus on the rear reflector one of the studs broke so it rattled a bit. I was tired of the chrome ring in front, and I knew I couldnt match the rear reflector to my tinted tails so I just had it painted. It seems the niteshades formula has changed, so I just said fck it. I actually like the tinted/painted combo, as at least now the outer lights blend in a bit better with the painted center section than if they were bright red.

Anyway, here is a sneak peek. No outside shots, as my car has been in this position for over a month and I still have a bit more work ahead of me.

Chris, your car is looking too much like mine! I demand you change your taste to something not quite as good!:laugh: Can't wait to see the car outside, with the new brakes and the Mirko & wheels put back on! :drool:

I know Mark! At least our wheels/mesh are different. I liked my tinted reflector, but it needed to be replaced and I had a snowballs chance in hell of trying to re-tint a new reflector and have it match the outside lights.

I have a lot of new performance to match the new look as well. The short list is:
boxed sway bar mounts with bolt in bushings
boxed main control arms (rear)
tubular rear (toe) control arms
rear sway bar spherical endlinks
BAT 21mm rear sway bar
Warmongers brake setup

I also replaced a few other things to clean up the appearance of the car (like new fogs, rewired some stuff for neatness), but that list is short and unimpressive.

Im just waiting on Bradness to send my TCAs and then Ill be all set. My car has been off the road for forever, as my subframe took a vacation to Canada to see Brad (hence the exhaust sitting on the ground). Hopefully it will be finished soon!

oh now now please dont flatter me :laugh:

I had a 3L but due to poor finance managment, I couldnt afford to get it put in and so I sold it to Mikey taking a really big loss on it :( however im trying to gain somthing from him at the moment as well :D

I was always a firm believer that if I were to attempt a 3L, it be with EVERYTHING new..new tranny (while they still last), new 3L..etc etc etc..


but hey thanks for the comments, im working on making it sexier ;)

Thats how I think. If its coming out, its coming out. Thats what happened to my rear suspension. I broke a swaybar tab and look what happened! :shocked:
 
yea man..good luck with all the fix and etc..I was hoping you woulda made it to SZ this past spring cause I wanted to get some photos of our cars alone since they are soo alike..
