Locks

Hi all,
I read quite a few posts on the power locks locking as soon as you start the car. Seems it has something to do with having an aftermarket keyless system. I have the MARS system, 33 I think. I'm about ready to just disconnect the solenoids they're pi**ing me off so bad.

Was wondering if anyone knew WHERE the control unit would be mounted? Are there any common places I can look? I don't see it anywhere under the hood. Just figured someone in here may be versed in the installations, etc.

From what I understand, the auto-lock can be deprogrammed (?)

Under the driver's side dash is where I'd start looking. On the left side is the fusebox; I'd suspect somewhere near there.

Possibly remove the battery and look around under there, or even under the airbox possibly.

Thanks guys. I'll dig into it asap, as I pulled the ol' lock the keys in the car trick. Thank God for card keys...
