my car was in the garage for 3 moths , because my wife messed with the clutch now the mechanic change the clutch and all fill with oil and all the stuff, buth my 4th gear dont work , dont engage i try forcing and nothing what could be the problem all the gears 1,2,3,5, and R work ok only my 4th dont work
 
Is this the same "mechanic" that had an entire old rag inside your last rebuild????
 
Tell your "mechanic" to readjust the shift cables. It should go in gear though if you mess around with it... unless he swapped trannies on you while it was out. :help: :shrug:

was my trainy because he made all in front of me he show me all the parts , now he adjust the cables and the same now the 4th gear grind some times, before the clutch never grind only the 3tr grind .


i have a tranny spare have a torsen in it buth i am little short of money now and want to rebuild myself , anybody have a how to rebuild? with pics?
