i know that i need to lower my car. i dont know how urgent the matter is. i had 2 kids in the back of my car last night(one was 250lbs the other was 350lbs) the back end was sagging so much that the fenders scraped the hell out of the sidewalls. it was comical getting out of the car and seeing how low it was. think thats bad enough to just say the hell with it and get the koni setup(keep in mind i'm 18 and in college). stock suspension should be able to handle that weight, shouldnt it?

edit: needless to say, they wont be riding in my car anytime soon.

First do a bounce test on whatever side the struts are going bad.

if it bounces more than 2 then its bad.

Or check to see if the struts are leaking by pulling up the plastic boots and checking for oil or moisture around the struts. These cars arent that heavy i cant imagine a spring can go bad so quick unless it broke.

Stock springs are not that beefy. BAT or Koni spring kit should serve you well. I'm not sure which has beefier springs, I've owned both but never compared them side by side.

The Koni rear springs sit higher than the fronts. They are nice and stiff and the car should actually level off nice with some weight in the back.

My vote goes to Koni.

My B+G rears are slammed once there's weight in the back because the car is already level with no weight in the back.

yeah, i think i'm gonna have to go with konis. the manager at the shop i work at knows some people and can get me a set for cost from the factory
